“Castingallee” is the name of the glossy book that collects photos by the photographer Matthias David from the years 2004 to 2009. The title is a reinterpretation of Kastanienallee, the main axis in Prenzlauer Berger Kiez. David's razor-sharp pictures show Robert Stadlober, Daniel Brühl and Laura Osswald, Mieze von Mia, a very young Nora Tschirner and many more. The Berlin celebrities from film, fashion, music and art. They dance, play tennis and look very good. The book is a look at a glossy surface of the city that no longer exists.
The Coachella is named after its venue, the Coachella Valley in the US state of California. To be more precise, the festival takes place near the city of Indio, which has a population of around 88,000, on the rather large site of the Empire Polo Club.
